The Lien Chinese Enterprise Research Centre (Lien CERC) was established by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in partnership with the Lien Foundation in 2006. The Centre’s objective is to assist Singaporeans succeed in the global marketplace, by equipping them to seize expanding business opportunities in China.

Leveraging the substantial expertise of NTU pertaining to Chinese related research and education, and with generous sponsorship from the Lien Foundation, Lien CERC provides comprehensive Chinese enterprise R&D resources, facilities and outreach programmes for both the business professional and academician. The Centre connects Singaporean/Chinese physical and intellectual resources with national, multinational and global enterprises. The Lien CERC facilitates the identification and implementation of key business strategies for capitalizing on growth prospects, further building the knowledgebase for present and future Singaporean endeavors in China.
